Work From Home - Sports Trading
Sports Arbitrage Trading is probably one of the best kept secrets there is in the ‘Work From Home’ marketplace. The concept is easy enough, the education is reasonably fast, the income can be substantial, and it isn’t embarrassing to tell your family and friends that you day trade arbitrage opportunities…but you don’t find it being flogged on every work from home and make money online website out there.
Without major promotion from large work at home websites, the numbers of people doing it will stay reasonably small as few people will ever learn of it. Why the major work at home websites don't promote sports arbitrage trading, I suspect, has a lot to do with the fact that the income that can be made from selling sports arbitrage trading simply doesn't justify the effort from their point of view.
Arbitrage trading is probably the only work at home opportunity which can make more money for the practitioners of it than it can for the people selling it.

Why Sports Arbitrage is Risk Free?
Most people wonder why arbitrage is always called 'risk free'.
Understanding how arbitrage works now, I have come to reconsider the meaning of 'risk free'. First of all, nothing in life is risk free: nuclear war can start tomorrow and the most certain of certainties will be stopped from happening. So let us disregard the impractical meaning of 'risk free' and instead use it in a practical way: "Something is Risk free in so far as safe accurate application, without external interferences, over the long term will almost certainly result in the desired result. (ie: Profits)
Is arbitrage risk free under this definition? I think so. While any single arb may incur the risk of a loss, the repeated application of arbitrage brings greater returns than risk, and hence continual profit. This conclusion comes from practical experience, but I will attempt to explain why there is practically no risk in arbitrage when it is done in a professional manner over a long term.
First of all, with practice most of the risks can be eliminated or reduced drastically. Accordingly, the consistent 'guaranteed' returns of arbitrage result in continual growth of the bankroll without the usual risks associated with gambling systems where many successive losses can wipe out your entire bankroll. Secondly, the odds that are being used in arbitrage are statistically in your favour. In order for an arbitrage to exist, the pair of odds must have a larger than 100% return, which basically means you have exchanged positions with the bookmaker: you now have the odds in your favour, not theirs. If you placed only one side of every arb, you should still come out ahead in the end. Of course trying this method does carry the risk of successive losses wiping out your bankroll which is why we do not recommend it. However it does give support to arbitrage over the long term where the occasional mistake may result in an uncovered bet. This is not what we want, but at least we have exceptionally high odds and a 50% chance of having accidentally bet on the winner.
Over the long run, the higher odds will result in larger returns than losses whenever these mistakes are made, and the continual profits made by arbing without error will grow the bank without losses.
So when Sports Betting Arbitrage is done in a professional manner over the long term, the profits to be made are practically 'risk free'.

By spending enough time looking around the internet, I believe you can find everything you need to know for free.

Absolutely. Some people do it casually, in their spare time in order to make some extra money. Other people invest a lot of money and trade as a full time job so that they can work from home. To meet people who actively trade, just go to our forums or even go to the arbforum forums where many veteran fulltime arbers can be found. The easiest way for me to answer it is to point to the weekly performance claims of several well known arbitrage trading investment pools as well as the weekly performance in trading had by Aegist. RiskFreeProfit has kept an average of around 3% per week over the last year. Aegist, a self-confessed beginner, originally achieved an average of 1.8% per week with a best week of 3.65% return.
Obviously the returns possible depend on many factors, primarily your experience and understanding of the system as well as the size of your bankroll and how well you employ that bankroll. I honestly think that 10% per month is accessible to anyone.
However, it is worth mentioning that at some point a limit is reached where you simply cannot place any more trades, use any more bookmakers and you cannot bet any larger. I suggest you not let this theoretical limit concern you for now though. Let the "Oh no, I have too much money" problem be dealt with when you have it...
6. If I start with $XXXX, can I make $XXX per week?
This question is really answered above. If you assume you make 2% profit each week, then $1000 will yield $20 a week. The math is simple. If $20 a week isn't enough for you to live off then you need to start with more capital, figure out how to increase you weekly percentage, or accept that you can't live off your arbitrage trading initially. I generally suggest no one jumps straight into arbitrage expecting to make a full time income from it straight away anyway. It is worth spending several months reinvesting your profits while you practice and learn the basics. That way you aren't relying on your profits to live while you are at your most vulnerable to mistake.
7. How much money do I need to get started?
I would guess the bare minimum bankroll to get started in arbitrage would be around $500. But in order to use that amount of money you would need to use only the free services and find your own arbs. The growth of that $500 would be very slow and tedious. For a more comfortable growth rate, around $3,000 minimum will create enough profit to cover the costs of an alert service. However I strongly recommend compounding all of your profits and paying for your alert service from another income source.

Apuestas Seguras con Handicaps (Español)
Hola gente
Si desean incrementar sus ganancias en las apuestas seguras (SUREBETS), lean la siguiente info y obtendran la solucion.
He sido un sport trader profesional durante ls ultimos 5 años, cuando comenze a trabajar con las apuestas seguras todo era mucho mas facil que hoy en dia, quiero decir que bastaba con realizar apuestas seguras (arbs) del tipo 1X2 o 12 o simplemente Mayor/Menor (Over/Under), la forma mas simple y comun y lograba obtener arbs con un promedio del 2.3% computando toda la temporada.
Como decia, hoy en dia se ha vuelto mas dificil, principalmente porque las Casas de Apuestas actualizan los precios mas rapidamente y tambien porque mas gente se ha involucrado en este negocio utilizando softwares y otros servicios, asi es que el mercado se ha vuelto mas complejo, resultando en el hecho que hoy mi porcentaje de arb promedio usando el estilo tradicional seria de alrededdor de solo el 1%, lo que no esta mal pero esta muy lejos de los buenos porcentajes que lograba en años anteriores, significando que deberia trabajar mas duro para obtener la misma ganancia.
Es por todo esto que he desarrollado diferentes formulas matematicas que corren en una hoja de calculos de excel, con el objetivo de obtener un porcentaje de arb mayor usando la combinacion de apuestas del tipo 1X2, asian handicap, 1X2handicap, back/lay arbs, etc...
Entonces he desarrollado y utilizado este metodo de combinacion de diferentes tipos de apuestas desde el 2007 y mi porcentaje promedio de arb se ha incrementado fuertemente desde el 1% hasta el 2.5%!!!, los novatos dirian que esto no pareciera ser mucho pero los traders experimentados ciertamente saben que es realmente mucho...
El metodo utiliza formulas muy sofisticadas para combinar precios de handicaps y asian handicaps con el formato traditional de precios de 1X2, asi es que se generan arbs en eventos que el resto de la gente en este negocio no logra ver, esto le da una ventaja estrategica sobre el resto y mas importante le permite obtener arbs de un porcentaje mayor.
Esto es un ejemplo de un partido de futbol entre Strømsgodset y Ham-Kam jugado el 31/08/2008 por la liga Noruega:
Los precios en el formato tradicional eran:
Strømsgodset @ 1.76
Draw @ 4.20
Ham-Kam @ 5.40
Esto da un arb normal de 0.85%, asi es que invirtiendo $1000, se ganan $8.5
PERO miren lo que yo obtuve usando la combinacion de asian handicap con precios tradicionales:
Observando el mercado de asian handicap para este mismo evento encuentro los siguientes precios
Strømsgodset (-0.75) @ 2.15
Ham-Kam (+1) @ 1.77
Ahora la combinacion de estos precios le permite obtener un arb de un porcentaje mucho mayor
Strømsgodset (-0.75) @ 2.15
Ham-Kam (+1) @ 1.77
Double chance X2 @ 2.35
Las formulas ya desarrolladas y listas para usar en una hoja de calculo excel le dira exactamente cuanto apostar en cada uno de estos precios para obtener la misma ganancias sin importar cual sea el resultado del evento.
Esto genera un gran arb de 4.53%, por lo que invirtiendo $1000 se ganan $45.3
Finalmente usted puede ver el poder de esta combinacion en compracion con el uo del formato tradicional

So I developed and used this method of combination of betting types since 2007 and my average arb % strongly increased from 1% up to 2.5%!!!, newbies would say that this does not look much but experienced trader certainly knows that it is a lot...
The method uses very sophisticated formulas to combine handicap and asian handicap odds with the traditional 1X2 odds, so doing this you are getting arbs in events that the rest of the people in the business are not seeing, this gives you an strategical advantage over the rest and most important allows you to get arbs with higher %.
This is an example of the match Strømsgodset vs Ham-Kam played on 31/08/2008 for Norway League:
Traditional odds were
Strømsgodset @ 1.76
Draw @ 4.20
Ham-Kam @ 5.40
This gives you a regular arb of 0.85%, so investing GBP 1000 I get GBP 8.5
